1972 International Scout II

There is no question that the IHC Scout has a very strong history in the automotive industry. Built for the rural customer that wanted the rugged and trusty vehicle to get from the farm field to the town. IHC built a wide array of vehicles with countless variations of engine, transmission, options and body styles. Today they are one of the top desired vintage SUV's on the market and seeing staggering value increases year over year.

Pleased to present this highly restored 1972 International Scout II with just 73k miles. Vehicle was stated to have only 3 owners since new and in 2016-2018 was restored to a very high standard and shows today. Vehicle was purchased and used by a executive who was a Development Engineer for IHC and used as his company vehicle for its first 6 months. Vehicle is featured in a Dark Cherry paint that compliments the newer seats draped in 'elk vermillion' plaid along with new carpet kit and additional features. Vehicle comes with less than 3k miles since the restoration and shows very well inside and out.

The larger 345ci V8, 3spd automatic, dual flip up roofs, roof rack, dual exhaust, vintage radio, IH lock-o-matic hubs, wood wheel, electronic ignition, DANA cruise control, DANA 44 front axle, front disc brakes, and larger sway bars in front and rear. This vehicle was done right in every way. The vehicle runs and drives fantastic either at highway speeds or pulling out the boat from the river. Custom decal was added recently and easily removed if desired. Many new components were added during the restoration and the cost to duplicate this vehicle would be in the $70k range.
