1968 Ford Bronco Sport

uncut, unmolested and rare 1968 Ford Bronco
SportNelson Equipment Co. of Sedro Woolley, WA on
March 25, 1968. It came delivered as you see it now in
Signal Flare Red over red interior. It came optioned with
its 289 CID V8 engine, 3 speed manual transmission and 4
wheel drive. This Bronco Sport Wagon is factory
equipped with the U152 HD Package to include heavier
suspension and 3.50 limited slip rear axle. Since, the
vehicle has only changed hands 2 times and shows just
over 72000 miles. These miles are said to be original and
the overall presentation of this Bronco backs that
statement. It remains uncut and retains a rock solid
original structure.
Cosmetically, the paint is old but shows well, the interior
is clean, the gauges remain original and much of the
paint appears original to include the sports stripe decal.
Mechanically, this Bronco is a performer. It starts and
runs very well, the suspension and steering are tight and
true, it brakes straight (master has been upgraded to

dual master), and the 3-speed on the column shifts and
operates amazingly well.
The U15 Sport Wagons are rare. One that is as original
and equipped as the example here are nearly a unicorn.
This Bronco is a straightforward, honest example that
can be immediately driven and enjoyed the way it is, or a
great candidate for a performance build or resto mod.
