1937 Ford Woodie Station Wagon

For starters, this is no back yard build folks, it is 100% steel and wood all sitting atop a very nice air ride suspension and lowering system. Unfortunately we are going to have to have the pictures do the car some real justice here as the owner of this car and many others has just passed and we will be selling the collection of cars from his estate. This particular car was purchased as you see it and we are unable to obtain any build information. His mechanic, builder and caretaker of his other cars maintained this vehicle but does not know the origin. We welcome any and all inspections and questions. The attention to detail from the modern corvette drivetrain to the suspension, brakes, to the most wonderful craftsmanship of the wood, paint etc….There is working air condition, excellent radio and is very comfortable to drive down to the seating and steering wheel positioning. This wonderful car starts easy, idles perfectly, does not smoke or leak, does not rattle or shimmy and goes down the road very nicely. All the gauges and lights work as they should, has power steering and brakes and would make a perfect hot rod touring rig or take it to pretty much any car show and be the envy…Furthermore, if anyone has any information regarding this car, we would love some input. I did find a small pin under the seat that had Jimmy G's Woodie. A restoration shop in California but they do not appear to be active anymore and did not see a picture of this car on the companies facebook.
