1969 Pontiac GTO

The GTO which was produced from 1964 through 1974 is credited with popularizing the muscle car segment and according to some, started the scene with all four domestic automakers offering a variety of competing models at this same time. The second generation GTO received Motor Trends “Car Of The Year” award in 1968. The standard engine which was the 400 Cubic inch V8 was rated at a very healthy 350 HP. This really nice GTO is a nicely optioned 4-speed with power steering and brakes and also hide-away headlamps. It is a color change car that looks excellent in Black. This car comes out of long-term ownership and has excellent care and storage. Other than the one re-paint twenty years ago, this car remains highly original, from engine to interior. The underside has had a couple rust repairs and the frame has some rust damage that can be repaired. The car starts, runs and drives very nicely with no issues whatsoever. It pulls hard in all gears, does not shimmy or shake at any speed, has no funky smells or leaks and is an all around very nice driver quality car. These cars command so much attention when driving down the road.
