The first generation of the Range Rover Sport was built between 2005 and 2013 with some minor cosmetic changes to the platform in 2009 and the final in 2012. The 2012 update also included features such as an electric power tailgate and revised media interface featuring Bluetooth audio and the addition of the 8-speed automatic transmission. All of the Rover Sports are very structural rigidity that make them a fan favorite for off-roading even though most of these very attractive Rovers never leave the pavement which is fine because they look as good on the highway as they do in the woods in my opinion. This particular example is a little bit of a unicorn because the whole drivetrain and everything mechanical has been gone through. A used engine w/70K miles was transplanted in to this rig with everything being gone through. In fact, recent receipts from a very reputable import shop showing over $26,000 in work done. We have the service invoice on hand showing all work completed from engine, to brakes to air system and everything in between. Finished in white over tan, this Rover sure looks the part and is a absolute pleasure to drive. Everything is in working order and is 100% ready to be enjoyed. Brand new this rig cost over $60,000, so at less than a 1/3rd the cost of new with a full mechanical rebuild, I believe this is a great buy.
