2002 Mercedes-Benz SL500 Silver Arrow

A special edition of 2002 SL 500/SL 600 was made to celebrate the 1930s Silver Arrow race car. It had full AMG body package, painted in Silver Arrow only special 777 metallic paint, special Silver Arrow designation on interior and exterior badging, two-tone silver and black interior, leather on steering wheel and seats, Silver Arrow illuminated sill plates, Silver Arrow leather bordered floor mats, special dark wood, and special BBS 2 piece wheels with polished stainless steel beauty rings. For the US market, only 1550 Silver Arrow units were produced. This particular Silver Arrow has to be one of the highest mileage examples I have seen. We here at GR Auto Gallery have sold several of these cars with most of them being in the collector mileage quality. This particular car that we took on trade on a lower mileage example has been driven….driven as a daily driver in fact for many years and that's his intention with the low mileage example he just purchased. Although this Silver Arrow is approaching 200k miles, it still starts, runs and drives very well. It has cosmetic flaws of a 200K mile desert vehicle with some fading, cracking and stone chips. The wheels are excellent and the tires are new. It has been a SW vehicle and serviced regularly. The rear window is hazy on the soft top, comes with the factory hard top with sagging head liner as they all do. This is a fun and pretty rare car for the $.
