GR Auto Gallery of Indy is pleased to present this beautiful 1970 Plymouth Road Runner for your consideration. This Plymouth is covered in a classic orange and black paint scheme. Powering this slick Mopar is a 440 4 barrel engine backed by a firm shifting 727 Torqueflite transmission. it is equipped with a standard black vinyl interior with a bench seat and column shifter. This is a real RM21 car that was originally a 383 car. The current owner has invested a lot of time and money recently in upgrading several items. NEW; Rally Gauges, Gauges, (Gas & Oil), Lower Ball Joints, Brake Booster, Master Cylinder, Cragar Wheels with Cooper Cobra RWL Tires, Air Grabber 440 Air Cleaner Kit (the Air Grabber works correctly), Air Grabber Vacuum Hoses and Vacuum Solenoid, Dash Wiring Harness, 3 Speed Wiper Switch & Wipers, Ignition Switch, Horn Relay, 3 Point Front Seat Belts, Trunk Mat. This is a strong running Hot Rod that is ready for some street action. It's perfect for a early morning cruise to the local C&C or a nice stretch of back country roads so it can show what it can do. Drive this one out of our showroom or have us assist with shipping it to you anywhere in the United States! Don't hesitate to give us a call with any questions or for more information.

The 1970 model year brought new front, and rear end looks to the basic 1968 body, and it would prove to be another success. Updates included a new grille, cloth & vinyl bench seat, hood, front fenders, quarter panels, single-piston Kelsey-Hayes disc brakes (improved from the rather small-rotor Bendix 4 piston calipers of '68 - '69 ), and even non-functional scoops in the rear quarters.9 The design and functionality of the Air Grabber option was changed. A switch below the dash actuated a vacuum servo to slowly raise the forward-facing scoop, exposing shark-like teeth on either side. "High Impact" colors, with names like In-Violet, Moulin Rouge, and Vitamin C, were available for that year. Although a heavy-duty three-speed manual became the standard transmission, the engine lineup was left unchanged, relegating the four-speed to the options list along with the TorqueFlite automatic. This was the second and last year of the Road Runner convertible, with only 834 made. The new high-back bucket seats were shared with other Chrysler products, which featured built-in headrests.

Price does not include applicable tax, title, license, processing and/or $199 documentation fees.
