tough, professionally prepared 1988 Jeep Wrangler. No shortage of thought or expenses
was exercised during the build of this off-road behemoth. Starting from a YJ base chassis, a
well-executed power plant and drive train transplant was performed. The motor consists of a
GM LQ4 6.0-liter truck motor that was installed with 61, 800 miles currently on the engine
and with the Jeep Odometer reading 58,800 miles at the time of the transplant. The motor
was inspected, addressed, wired and programmed at the knowledgeable hands of Jims
performance. Power and drivetrain features include: the professionally prepared LQ4 6 liter
V8, Turbo 350 transmission fortified with a 2000 stall converter, B&M Shift kit and shifter,
Sanderson Coated Headers, Advanced Adaptor Rubber Engine and Transmission Mounts,
Be Cool Aluminum Radiator, Joint Clutch and Gear Custom Driveshaft fitted with Novak Slip
Yoke Eliminator, 3:73 Gears with limited slip, Ford Explorer 8.8 brakes, 4 inch Rubicon
Express Springs, Bilstien Shocks, Stock Dana Front, YJ Hood and Fenders, Custom TJ
Grill, Warn Winch, upgraded headlights, KC off road lights and Stock CJ Tail gate. No
modifications to the tub or frame.
In short this is a high quality build that is ready to take on the most technical terrain that the
4X4 community has to offer as well as all out 4 seasons of fun. You cannot build it for the
