GR Auto Gallery is pleased to offer this 1996 International Scout 800 for your consideration. It is powered by a V8 motor that is mated to a 3-speed manual gearbox with a low-range gear. The engine fires right up, pulls strong, and idles smooth. Shifting is made easy by the floor-mounted shifter.

This Scout 800 is finished in a beautiful turquoise metallic color which is nicely accented by the Bedliner covered hardtop and black wheels. The truck rides on 15-inch Bassett wheels wrapped in 31-inch BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A tires which make for an aggressive stance.

Not only is this Scout finished beautifully on the exterior, but also on the interior. The turquoise paint continues into the cabin where it is complemented by black carpeting and white vinyl seats. While there are little to none comfort features, that is not the point of a Scout. These tough machines are perfect to enjoy with family and friends both on and off the road.

This example comes to us out of California and is now being offered to a global market. International Harvester developed the Scout as a precursor of more sophisticated SUV's to come. The only other 4-wheel drive recreational vehicles offered at the time were jeeps. The Scouts became known for their ability to go anywhere and have high durability.
