GR Auto Gallery is pleased to offer this 1976 Mercedes-Benz 450SL for your consideration. It is powered by a strong 4.5L V8 motor producing 225hp and 278lb-ft, which was nearly the same amount of power as the larger US market 560SL model. Mated to the motor is an automatic transmission that shifts strong between gears.
This SL is finished in a crisp coat of black clearcoat which is accented by the chrome upgrade package. The chrome upgrade package gave the car various chrome accents throughout the exterior of the car, including the 14-inch chrome wheels. The car comes with a black hardtop and beige soft top. Complementing the exterior is a wonderful tan interior that has some small signs of wear but presents itself well. The 450SL came standard with cruise control, air conditioning, and a host of other features.
The Mercedes-Benz SL series was the top of the line sports luxury tourer that offered both performance and comfort. Produced from 1971 all the way to 1989, the R107 lived a long and cherished life.
