GR Auto Gallery is pleased to offer this gorgeous, 1956 Ford Thunderbird. This car was with centerpiece of a 4 car collection since 1981 and recently acquired by GR Auto Gallery. The car remained original and usable until it was lovingly restored in 1997 and was completely enjoyed and shown by the owner. While in his possession, the car was always kept in a detailed state and kept in a climate controlled, very clean garage.

The car is finished it its original color combination of Colonial White exterior paint over black and white interior. It is powered by the optional 312 V8 V8 engine, Automatic transmission and rear wheel drive. Highlights include: Power steering, Power Bench seat, desirable Continental Kit with rear mounted spare, Fender Skirts, Chrome Dome Air Cleaner, Town and Country Radio, Original Steering Wheel with Horn Ring, Tachometer, Clock, Factory Correct Hubcaps, Factory Correct Floor Mats, and signature “Port Hole” hardtop.

Cosmetically, this 1956 T-Bird is beautiful in every way. The interior is absolutely stunning, the seats, dash and turned bright work are all awesome, the gauges have all been refurbished and are beautiful as well as door panels etc. The exterior panel fit is excellent as well as the paint, chrome and trim. Under the hood is beautifully detailed and the frame and underside remain largely original receiving some detailing and light refurbishment along the way.

Mechanically, this T-bird is spot on. Runs and drives fantastic, motor runs strong, the transmission shifts proper, the power steering, brakes and suspension all lend to an enjoyable and confident driving experience.
