We love original cars at the GR Auto Gallery and when this 2 owner, well kept, 61000 mile example drove in to our showroom, it did not take long for our staff to gather and admire.

We are pleased to present this 1970 Cadillac Eldorado Coupe for international consideration. This car was sold new by Bob Stofer Olds Cadillac inc. of Effingham IL, on February 19, 1970 to a local prominent business man. The car remained in his possession until 2010, and just over 60,000 miles where it changed hands to a collector enthusiast. At the time of his acquisition, the car immediately went to service where $1500.00 dollars were spent to get the car up to snuff. Since then, the car remained in a private collection and climate controlled environment until our recent acquisition. As a result of consistent care and maintenance, this Highly original 1970 Cadillac Eldorado Coupe remains in quite amazing condition. The car is powered by its original 500 Cubic inch V8 engine, automatic transmission and front wheel drive. The car features most of its original Cotillion White exterior paint, original chrome trim and bright work. All show excellent. The body has excellent fitment in all areas and all lines remain crisp and sharp. The interior is all original Black leather and is excellent. The Leather seats remain free from cracking, remain supple and show very little wear. The dash is excellent and the dash pad is near perfect. The headliner, door panels, wood trim, and carpet all appear all original and excellent.

Under the hood lies is behemoth V8 engine. The whole engine compartment
remains very tidy, original, consistent service is evident, and the AC has been converted to R134 refrigerant. The underside of this car is all original with the exception of serviceable items, is excellent and hides nothing. Mechanically, this Cadillac is spot on and was recently driven over 120 miles of smoothness to our facility.

The 1970 Cadillac Eldorado is an important car built for important people. It is larg and in charge and considered the most self-indulgent car in America for the time. The Cadillac El Dorado in all of its generational forms remains and American Automotive Icon.
