2006 BMW M Roadster

Introduced in 2002 to replace the Z3, the first generation Z4 was made until 2008 and was sold in both soft top and coupe variations. Assembled in BMW's Greer, South Carolina plant, the Z4 was sold around the world and was a sales success for the brand. The US spec models were sold exclusively with 6 cylinder engines, with the Z4 M representing the top of the range. Fitted with the S54 3.2L straight 6 cylinder from the M3, the Z4 M was a rocket ship. With 330hp, a 6-speed close ratio manual transmission, hydraulic power steering, and a lighter and stiffer body structure, the Z4 M is a true drivers car.

With just two owners since new, this car was purchased by the second owner as a CPO and has been with them for 10 years. Finished in a bright shade of Interlagos blue, this car is in beautiful shape. The paint is excellent and the body is free of dents and scratches. Some of the exterior benefits of the M conversion include sporty front and rear bumpers, 18in split five spoke wheels, quad exhaust pipes, HID projector headlights, and darker exterior trim. The convertible top is in good shape and features a glass rear window. Other exterior features included drilled brake rotors, headlight washers, and M badging. The black leather sport seats are in very nice condition. The driver's seat shows a tiny bit of wear, but is overall in excellent shape. The dashboard is very clean and original and features a think M steering wheel, M gear shift knob, M floormats, A/C, aluminum dash trim, BMW Business CD player, heated seats, cruise control, power windows, cruise control, power locks, and a power convertible top.

These Z4 Ms are excellent drivers cars, with superb steering, handling, braking, and acceleration. The S54 engine was even voted one of the top engines of all time. Offering all the speed and driver enjoyment you could want, this Z4 is great on a twisty road or on the racetrack. Having come out of a larger collection where it saw very limited mileage, this Z4 is the one to buy!
