1983 Austin Mini

The famous Monte Carlo Rally race is well known in any racing club and the MINI's of 1963-66 were well established as taking the podium in many of the races as their small foot print outclassed many of the large and slower competition that they competed again. The front wheel technology was cutting edge and gave the drive more control and better handling in each category.

This stunning little Austin MINI is true to its roots with a strong running setup and was built in England and then imported into Canada where it was sold new and then brought into the USA via Washington state and has spent the past 13+ years in Washington, Michigan and Carolina. The car is nicely equipped with newer suspension items, Safety Devices cage, fog lights, and newer sport seats with leather and cloth inserts upgraded RPM gauge and ATS wheels. The very authentic blue/grey checkered board roof and grey racing stripes make this car stand out from the rest.

Vehicle has a nice file of receipts and previous ownership history. Car has recently received the following service work; new Austin small bore water pump, bypass hose, thermostat housing, fan belt, aluminum radiator side mount, lower bottom radiator hose , upper radiator hose, and thermostat.

These cars have a strong cult following and will always climb in value as they are becoming rarer each year and many have fallen to the hands of neglect or corrosion.
