1986 Mercury Cougar

The Cougar was manufactured for nearly 34 years, with a brief intermission in 1998. Production ended in 2002. During its life it shared a lot of the characteristics of its Ford counterpart of the time. Early years, it was the Mustang and eventually Thunderbird attributes. For many years it was the Cougar that was a important part for the Mercury division, often identified its dealers as being “at the sign of the cat”. It was the second longest running model next to the Grand Marquis.
This particular extremely low mileage example remains in excellent running, driving and operational condition. The A/C blows ice cold and everything is in operational order. This is the famed Bostonian edition that was offered by dealers around the country in all seven generations of production. They were knows as the City edition and are distinctive with the Vinyl roofs. This is a great car offered at a great price.
