The GR Auto Gallery is pleased to present this rare 2005 Ford Thunderbird 50th Anniversary 'Cashmere Edition' for your consideration. This Thunderbird is #1175 of 1,500 special edition models Ford produced for 2005, all of which were finished in Cashmere Tri-Coat Metallic Paint over the matching Cashmere leather bucket seats. Ordered new from Maroone Ford in Florida, this Thunderbird has enjoyed a well cared for and well documented life. The Cashmere Metallic paint is in excellent condition thanks to the climate controlled storage and just over 12,000 miles on the odometer. Powering this Thunderbird is a 3.9L V8 which sends the power to the rear wheels through a 5-speed automatic transmission. This vehicle also features a matching hardtop with throwback pothole windows and a power operated soft top. Many of the original floor mats and factory accessories are still included in their original packaging. The previous owners have gone to great lengths to ensure the preservation of this rare Thunderbird for the next collector to enjoy.

2005 Thunderbird 50th Anniversary 'Cashmere' Special Edition. Ford initially released the Thunderbird in 1954 as their new halo car for 1955. In 1999, Ford decided to honor their iconic Thunderbird by building a new model with styling cues from the old Thunderbird to continue the good looks. While all 2005 Thunderbirds were badged as '50th Anniversary,' only the Cashmere edition vehicles were built in a limited production run of only 1,500 vehicles.
