1975 International Scout II

The International Harvester Scout is an off-road vehicle produced by International Harvester from 1961 to 1980. A precursor of more sophisticated SUVs to come, it was created as a competitor to the Jeep, and it initially featured a fold-down windshield. The Scout and second-generation Scout II were produced in Fort Wayne, Indiana, as two-door trucks with a removable hard top with options of a full-length roof, half-cab pickup, and/or soft top.

Pleased to bring to market this stunning 1975 International Scout II with a very eye catching interior and exterior. Brought back from Arizona where it spent most of its life before being in Colorado for past two years. Vehicle was given a nice refresh with quality paint job, new cloth interior with leather trim, 15in wheels, headliner, custom leather dash pad, and LED headlights. Vehicle is quick to catch your eye as the color combo is very well chosen and the red cloth interior really sets it apart from others on the road.

Vehicle runs very nicely and the engine comes alive very easily. The capable 345ci V8 is strong and hustles thru the automatic transmission with ease once warmed up. AM radio, horn, lights, turn signals, and wipers are all functioning and the cool period correct roof rack set this one apart from others. Vehicle has proper lap seatbelts and working heater and A/C system is there but were unable to verify temp. Jack tools and spare are in the rear and clean title. Engine may have some internal oil leak, great candidate for a resto mod and the Scout is priced accordingly.
