1982 Toyota Celica Supra

Into the 3rd generation of the Celica there was significant style change and larger car to accommodate 4 people and better styling. More options were available and the larger inline 6cyl was huge hit to provide more torque and a top speed of over 115mph.

Pleased to bring to market is this stylish and well cared for 1982 Toyota Celica Supra with just under 34k miles. The Celica had a sub model of Supra and would later drop the Supra so it could become its own model in the late 80's. This stunning car was sold new to Mr. William Swindler out of Indianapolis IN on April 16th 1982 out of Tom Wood Toyota Town. Vehicle remained in the area and then down to North Carolina.

Vehicle is nicely optioned and very original with only modification we could find was the Pioneer stereo with USB and Bluetooth. Factory features include; power sunroof, rear wiper, cruise control, tilt wheel, on-board computer, 14in aluminum wheels, fog lights, auto climate control, rear privacy shade, and power windows/locks/mirrors.

Vehicle inside and out is in very nice condition and the previous owner in 2020 had the car repainted in the factory correct Gloss Black. Interior is sharp with the iconic fabric seats that have stood up very well and the dash is crack free along with majority of the features working as expected. Even the cigarette lighter still works. Recent engine work includes; cylinder head milled, new valves, camshafts, and seals, timing belt and water pump replaced, alternator replaced, A/C compressor replaced and new control relay installed, new fuel filter, heater core and blower replaced, new battery, vacuum module replaced, new EFT relay installed, and front end alignment and oil change.

Vehicle comes with a nice file full of recent service, some service records dating back to 1982 and owner's manual along with Haynes shop manual, original bill of sale and a Toyota brochure. Finding another low mileage car like this will be very difficult and one that has been so well preserved will only continue to go up in value each year.
