1979 Ford Bronco Ranger XLT

GR Auto Gallery is pleased to offer this awesome 1979 Ford Bronco Ranger XLT. This Bronco was acquired from the great state of Montana by a local Bronco enthusiast. It was then selectively refurbished in its original color combination of two-tone, Coral with Pastel Sand over tan Ranger interior. It is powered by its 351 V8 engine, desirable 4 speed manual transmission and Fords proven 4-wheel drive system. Highlights include: Power steering, power brakes, factory aluminum wheels, optional factory roll bar, interior mounted spare tire, electric rear window, original bucket seats, rear bench, console, factory sport steering wheel, original exterior trim, original bumpers, original unrestored frame and underside, upgraded stereo, removable hard top, original headliner, new carpet, vintage grille guard, hitch, factory jack, etc.
This Bronco remains in amazing condition in all areas. The paint has been professionally applied and shows excellent. The interior features new carpet and new correct dash pad. The bucket seats remain original and the driver seat has expected wear and tear (we chose to keep it that way and leave that decision up to the new owner), the original dash fascia and gauges are original and excellent. The factory aluminum wheels remain original and unrestored. Under the hood still retains the original, untouched factory galvanized outer wheelhouses, original paint on the firewall, bottom side of the hood and inner fenders; the frame and underside remain highly original, dry with excellent structure.
Mechanically, this Bronco is spot on. Recent services include (May 2020), include new suspension bushings, rear wheel cylinders, front brakes, new belts and hoses, plugs and wires, oil pump, timing chain and gears, main bearings, cam bearings, rear main seal, all gaskets, all fluids, etc….
I have driven this Bronco since our recent acquisition for over 110 miles, it grabs attention everywhere and it drives excellent. The truck pulls strong in every gear, it shifts proper, the power steering is excellent, the suspension is tight, and it performs well in all driving situations.
The first generation “Big Body” Broncos were a two-year design only and are among the most sought after. The truck here is a high-quality example in a rare and very eye-catching color combination. Values continue to climb, and these rare SUV's are most excellent automotive investments. Opportunity knocks.
