When developing the amazing Z3 two-seater BMW knew that their clientele would appreciate a more powerful and aggressive looking version quickly. In 1999 the M Roadster debuted with a massive 3.2L I6 engine shared from the M3 that cranked out 240HP. This very lightweight version was fast, agile and built for speed.
