Powered by a 350ci V8 engine power is sent to the rear wheels through an automatic transmission. With just over 44,000 miles on the clock this low mile example drives extremely well. The car appears to be numbers matching.
Highlights include tilt steering wheel, power windows, CB radio, T-Tops and storage bag, rear defrost, owners manual, power brakes, power steering, air conditioning, rear cargo shade. The car even comes with what is believed to be the original key tag when purchased new.
The special "Anniversary Edition" included a unique Charcoal Silver/Silver Metallic two-tone paint job for an extra $399. 1978 was the 25th Anniversary of the already legendary Corvette. All 78's featured silver anniversary emblems on the nose and fuel door. A new fastback rear window was the most dramatic and noticeable styling change. The fixed-glass fastback improved aerodynamics, usable luggage space, and visibility.
