GR Auto Gallery is pleased to offer this beautiful 1965 Chevrolet Corvette for your consideration. This vehicle is a beautiful example of a classic Corvette build done right. It is powered by a crate LS3 6.2L V8 which is mated to a 5-speed Tremec manual transmission. The selling owner noted that the motor is said to produce a staggering 480 horsepower. This 'Vette starts right up without hesitation and purrs smoothly at idle. Exhaust is dumped out the side through side pipes that have the appropriate heat shielding. A Classic Vintage EFI system was installed in replacement of a carburetor. Also installed are an AC compressor and DeWitt radiator.

The Nassau Blue paint is exceptional and is complemented by beautiful chrome bumpers and accents throughout the exterior. The 17-inch US MAGS wheels are a beautiful chrome and are wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires. To make stopping this 480 horsepower vehicle easy it has Wilwood disc brakes at all four corners. In the front, there are 6-piston calipers and in the rear 4-piston calipers. Overall the exterior of this Corvette is absolutely stunning from every angle.

Inside the vehicle is equally as nice as the exterior. The blue vinyl interior is in great condition as are the dashboard, carpets, and door cards. A Dakota Digital VHX gauge cluster has been installed as has cruise control and air conditioning. Just like the exterior, chrome accents complement the blue exterior.

The Corvette launched its 2nd generation with the birth of the Stingray with a complete redesign barely resembling its predecessors. The Stingray was lighter, had independent suspension, and was aerodynamically tested. The only American cars that could produce similar speed were large, heavy Super Stock optioned Mopars and Super Duty Pontiacs. For the first time, the United States had mass-produced a true all-around sports car.

This Corvette drives like a dream due to the upgraded suspension and modern powerplant. Now is your chance to take home a beautiful classic Stingray that features the power and driveability of a modern sports car. Corvettes like this are becoming more desirable by the day and you can bring home this awesome example today. Please call or email with any questions or for additional information.
