This car is one of 448 ZR-1 Corvettes produced in 1993, approximately 240 of them were produces in the 40th Anniversary Edition Livery. The car is powered by its ZR-1 specific LT5 V8 producing 405 hp at 5800 RPM and 385 ftlbs of torque at 5200 RPM. The power plant is mated to its 6 speed manual transmission and rear wheel drive.
The ZR-1 performance packager was a $31 683.00 dollar option to include the drive train listed above, heavy duty braking system, 17 x 9.5 front and 17 x 11 rear styled aluminum wheels, electronic air conditioning, specific side body panels, selective ride and handling package, leather adjustable sport seats, 6-way passenger and driver power seats, low tire pressure warning, Delco Bose Gold Series music system with cd and cassette player and solar glass.
The car remains finished in its 40th Anniversary Edition Ruby Red factory exterior paint over original Ruby Red interior. This ZR-1 is also equipped with the roof package: lexan and painted removable roof center. At just 26705 original miles this ZR1 remains in excellent condition in all areas. The Ruby red paint remains deep and glossy, the interior is wonderful showing minimal wear on the driver seat bolster. The wheels are near perfect.
Mechanically the car is awesome. It pulls strong through every gear with muscular exhaust note, it shifts flawlessly, very tight and responsive in suspension and handling, and stops quickly and straight.
C4 Corvettes have fallen into favor among driver enthusiasts and collectors in recent years and the ZR1 package is highly sought after as they were the most powerful American car of its time and stood among the world's supercars.
