This is why classic automobiles are always so damn interesting and fun! Here is a 1965 AMC Rambler 550 Cross Country Classic station wagon with a 3spd manual transmission! Not only is it a stud in condition and uniqueness, but this was the top of the line of comfort in 1965. The third generation provided an updated style, upgraded engine setup and double safety master brake cylinder which were only available on one other manufacture in USA – the Cadillac!

Get your gear, your family or friends and plan a road trip in style. This stunning Rambler wagon is an eye catcher for sure and has been tastefully restored and shows incredibly well. According to previous owner this car won 3 best of shows outside of Philadelphia last summer. This car has been gone thru from top to bottom and represents what you want in a classic cruiser. The car is a dream to drive anywhere and the inline 6cyl runs like a sewing machine with a smooth start. During the test drive the car performed near perfection and was a joy to drive and get on the road. The lights, turn signals, wipers, horn, heat, lighter and even the glove box courtesy light all functioned properly. Vehicle rides on newer white wall tires with the signature knock off style hub caps. The paint job is clean and crisp with some minor imperfections but very worthy of its age. Under the hood the car becomes a show off with a very crisp and detailed engine bay with powder blue restored engine and nicely fitted to the drive train and transmission. New battery, radiator, hoses, and spark plugs were also replaced recently.

Chrome bumpers, chrome door handles, chrome mirrors, chrome window seals and chrome luggage rack with tie downs complete the look of this wagon. Inside the two tone blue pinstripe seats are in fantastic condition and the rubber floors are clean and properly installed. In the rear area you will find the spare and jack in the proper compartments. Rear window rolls down properly and seals are good. Vehicle came out of the climate friendly state of Montana and comes with vintage stickers, 3.31 rear end and is believed to be the true mileage on the vehicle. Side decals “The Lodge” and deer image are just vinyl stickers and can easily be removed if desired.
