GR Auto Gallery is pleased to offer this lifted 1976 Chevrolet K10 Scottsdale 4X4 for your consideration. Covered in a bright Orange paint offset by the black interior, This jacked up 4X4 screams for attention. Powered by a 454 that makes plenty of power to get the Super Swampers turning, The big block Chevy is backed by a turbo 350 transmission that transfers everything to the transfer case, and then is sent to the 12 bolt differentials, front and rear. This truck is almost as clean on the bottom as it on the top. Jacked up with lots of lift, it rolls on 38 X 15.50 Super Swampers and Mickey Thompson Allow wheels. Other upgrades include; air conditioning, FiTech fuel injection, Edelbrock aluminum intake, power disc brakes, BDS NX Nitro shocks and stabilizer's, new gas tank, etc. So, if you're looking for an extremely clean 4X4 that will get all the attention, this is for you! Drive this one out of our showroom or have us assist with shipping it to you anywhere in the United States!
The third-generation C/K was introduced for the 1973 model year. Designated the "Rounded Line" generation by General Motors, the C/K grew in size inside and out. As pickup trucks increased in use as personal vehicles, cab features and options moved closer in line with GM sedans (with power windows and power door locks becoming options). To further expand its practicality, a four-door crew cab body was introduced (offering 6-passenger seating).
While relatively straight-lined and boxy in appearance (leading to their "Square-body" nickname from the public2) the Rounded Line trucks were the first generation of the C/K to be designed with the use of computers and wind tunnels, optimizing the exterior shape for lower drag and improved fuel economy. The chassis was an all-new design (with all trucks receiving a leaf-spring rear suspension); K-Series trucks moved to all-wheel drive (shift-on-the-fly 4x4 was introduced for 1981).
