1968 Oldsmobile Delmont 88

GR Auto Gallery is pleased to present this 1968 Oldsmobile Delmont 88 Convertible for purchase. The Oldsmobile 88 was offered in various forms and sizes throughout a model run that continued from 1949 to 1999. The differing trim lines featured many different names (such as Delta, Dynamic, Jetstar, Super, etc) throughout the history of the line. The Delmont was a trim model just used in 1967 & 1968 perhaps because of Ted Kennedy and the Chappaquiddick Incident.

This '68 Delmont 88 Convertible is a really cool car that you don't see very often. It has been a Michigan car with the same owner since 1978 only driven in good weather. It features a 350ci V8 paired with the original automatic transmission. This remains a highly original car with the original dash, radio, and wheels. It received a new paint job, seats, and carpet 12 years ago. The convertible top is only five years old and in excellent shape. This is an original air conditioning car, but the owner has never used it since he almost exclusively drove it with the top down. This is a very nice cruiser that is a really cool find.
