1929 Ford Model A Pickup

The beloved Model A was built from 1928 through 1931 and help Ford transition from its dated Model T. Yes, the Model T put Ford on the map but by now, many auto manufacturers had caught up with the assembly line and had moved on to a more sophisticated design. The Model A was built in nine different body styles and in 4 short years, Ford managed to sell nearly 5 Million examples. They ranged in prices from just about $500 to just over $1000. This particular really cool truck example is finished in the classic black over green with finished off wood bed. The paint is older but still shows very good and I especially like the painted to match the body wire wheels. This is a really clean unmolested example that starts exactly like it should, idyles down nicely and quietly, goes through all gears properly with really nice brakes with no pulling or pulsating. The steering has a little play that is pretty common with these A's. The engine bay is tidy with no apparent major oil or fuel leaks and does not even really smoke upon cold starting. There is what I believe to be a original exhaust manifold heater that works well.
