Sold new in Wisconsin and in 2021 was sold to a second owner in Iowa. Vehicle was pampered its entire life with only accumulating 2,200 miles per year over its 29yr life span. Routine service was performed and the vehicle remains mostly stock setup.
This VW had an MSRP of $21,895 back in 1996 which put it significantly above the average price of a new car back then, but they sold as quickly as the dealers got them off the boat. Nicely featured from the factory with; power windows, power locks, A/C, AM/FM Cassette stereo, manual folding convertible top with glass window, cruise control, tilt wheel, 14in 7-spoke "Orlando" alloy wheels, ABS brakes and a 5spd manual transmission.
