When introduced, the “A” charted a new direction for MG. The cars were lower with sleek lines, more roomy interior, low seating position and more powerful. Most importantly was the departure of the body-on-frame design for a uni-body construction. The car was stiffer, much more rigid, and demonstrated vastly improved handling capabilities. The A transcended MG to the sports car world and developed a rich racing history. To this day, the MGA is considered the best overall MG produced.
GR Auto Gallery is pleased to present this absolutely stunning MG A for your consideration. The car is finished in Old English White and is stunning. The paint and body work are excellent, and the car was treated to professional restoration inside and out. The car has been fully sorted mechanically, with what appears to be a peppy 1600cc I4 mated to a 4-speed manual that clicks through the gears nicely. The car comes with tool kit, knock off tool and hammer, spare tire, tonneau cover and side curtains.
Everything is as it should and is probably nicer than when it left the factory. The current owner has enjoyed the car and the car is blast to drive. Nice MG As are shooting up in value, and the cars are a fun conversation piece as well as an appreciating asset. This car drives straight and true and is joy to drive.
