1928 Ford Model A

The Model A was produced by the Ford Motor Company four years and in 1929 one million were sold. The price for a new one was US$500. The Model A was the first of fords to use standard driver controls, such as a gas, brake, and clutch pedal. It was also the first to use safety glass for the windshield. By the end of its production, 4,849,340 were made. The A was powered by a 201 c.i. engine producing 40 hp and reaching a top speed of 65 mph. The transmission was a standard three speed.

The 1928 Model A offered for sale here is in beautiful condition with a recent paint job and brand new interior, complete with freshly upholstered seats, door panels, headliner and floor mat. It has been upgraded to a 12 volt system, with an alternator; high and low beam headlights, and turn signals. The engine runs well and upon taking the car for a test drive it went down the road nice and straight. This car has started right up every time and feels nice and tight. The brakes work as they should and the transmission feels nice and tight as well.
