Production of the MGB began in October 1962 just after the production of the MGA had ceased. Though often referred to as a roadster, the MGB had roll up windows, outside door handles and vent wings. A Mark II version was added in 1967, and the car stayed in production until 1980, becoming one of the most successful British sports cars of all time, with a total of over 300,000 cars being exported to the U.S. alone.

This car has had the pleasure of living in the sunny dry climate of Texas where it has spent almost its entire life, giving the metal plenty of time to soak up the warm air and not expose itself to the wet and cold northern climates that caused many of these to turn into rust buckets and become junk yard material. It has received a nice engine rebuild a few years back with all new wiring harness, hoses, rebuilt carburetor, new fan housing, tune up and new plugs. Car runs like a sewing machine and retains original paint color and proper tags. Vehicle has nice upgrades such as; full stereo, rear luggage rack, re-wrapped leather steering wheel, reconditioned wheels, full Tonneau cover and convertible boot cover and owners manuals and shop manuals.

Vehicle also retains the original stereo when new for collectability and is ready for the open road. These cars are a joy to drive and play with. The market remains strong and well sorted and clean rust free MG's are becoming very difficult to duplicate.
