1970 Volkswagen Camper

The beginning of a movement often happens with something special to spark the start. The VW Bus/Camper was what every flower child needed to take to the open roads, concerts and parks. These buses were capable of holding many people and their gear as well as provide living quarters without much effort as well as some basics such as electricity hookup, fridge and sink with running water.

This specific camper is in fantastic condition both inside and out as well as mechanically. Coming from only two previous owners and cared for extremely well. Car retains its originality with very few modern upgrades and most importantly a full engine rebuild done less than 3,000 miles ago with new heat exchangers.

The bus is believed to be original miles and has a brand new set of tires mounted onto reconditioned wheels. Car retains its factory setup with; front bucket seats, rear bench seat and jump seat with seatbelts, full cabinets with closet and storage, ice cooler, sink with running water, electric hookup, curtains, fold out picnic table and fold out serving table, full size spare tire, and the cool crank out windows. Car also comes with VW service book/manual, original tool kit, and newer battery. Many of the rubber seals have been replaced recently as well.

This bus runs and drives very nicely and has plenty of power even when loaded up with gear and people. It remains rust free and was repainted once to a high quality standard. These campers provide a great adventure for any outing or expedition and one that will retain its current value as well as climb with the market. Rust free, well sorted ones such as this are becoming very difficult to locate and purchase for a fair values.
