Additional features include intermittent wipers, power windows, power locks, AM/FM stereo, a Retrax tonneau cover, carpeted bed, and special Foose-stitched seating. The 2008 Ford F-150 Chip Foose Edition was born from a collaboration between Ford and famed automotive designer Chip Foose, aimed at combining the rugged utility of the F-150 with unique styling and performance enhancements. Based on the FX2 Sport package, the Foose Edition took the concept to the next level with a lowered stance, 22-inch Foose wheels (optional), and aggressive body styling. Limited to just 500 units, each truck featured Foose-specific design cues inside and out, including unique badging and interior stitching. Backed by the 5.4L V8 and upgraded by Roush, it offered both eye-catching style and legitimate street performance in a half-ton pickup platform.
