2004 Pontiac GTO

With the renewal of the GTO nametag, Pontiac focused on performance and comfort from behind the wheel and they did it right. With a slightly duller exterior than most expected, this new generation of GTO's was very much a sleeper but with plenty of aftermarket customization available for owners to make their own personal touches. With what is acclaimed as one of the most comfortable seats GM has ever produced, a RWD platform which fits the 5.7L V8 well and an optional 6-speed Tremec manual transmission, this vehicle was much more than the eye would lead you to believe. Wonderful design touches can certainly be found within the cabin of these models as they made them with a red-face GTO dial with silver bezels, stitched on leather wrapped steering wheel, polished metal interior door handles and more gave this a real break from the basic interiors typically found in this generation of GM products. Falling within a price point that kept the general market satisfied, this was a true value for the amount of performance it gave to its owners.
