This car is in pristine shape and you can tell the owner took excellent care of it both cosmetically and mechanically. The black leather interior still has a new feel and smell. The exterior paint is in near perfect condition as well which is hard to say on a black car. This example was maintained with an open check book and the mountain of receipts show nothing was left to chance.
The Phaeton was penned as a hand-built luxury flagship sedan assembled at VW's Transparent Factory in Dresden to compete with the likes of the Mercedes-Benz S Class and BMW 7 Series. Because the Phaeton shared DNA with the Bentley Continental GT & Audi A8 it sports amazing features such as four-zone climate control and hidden motorized wood panels that reveal air vents when activated and an unparalleled ride. Being a part of the small fraternity of hardcore and slightly eccentric VW owners is quite cool, and this polar opposite of the bug will set you apart from the masses.
