This 1996 Nissan Skyline GTS25t 4-Door is a fantastic example of Nissan's legendary R33 platform, combining turbocharged RB power with rear-wheel drive, a 5-speed manual transmission, and the added practicality of a four-door sedan. Finished in black and showing just 68,000 kilometers, this Japanese-market Skyline retains its right-hand-drive configuration and delivers the unmistakable character that made the R33 generation an icon of 1990s Japanese performance.

Under the hood is the desirable 2.5-liter RB25DET DOHC turbocharged inline-six. Factory rated at approximately 250 PS, the RB25DET is one of Nissan's most celebrated performance engines and provides a strong foundation for both street driving and additional performance. This example has been upgraded with a cold-air intake, boost controller, and cat-back exhaust, with output estimated at approximately 280 horsepower.

Power is sent exclusively to the rear wheels through a 5-speed manual transmission and limited-slip differential. The car currently uses an R33 OEM 5-speed transmission with approximately 70,000 miles on it and has been further upgraded with a Stage 2 clutch and lightweight flywheel. Supporting components include an OEM master and slave cylinder, GKTech clutch line, R33 factory clutch pedal, and custom driveshaft.

The chassis has also received tasteful upgrades aimed at sharpening the Skyline's already capable handling. Coilovers provide a lower, more aggressive stance, while 17x7 wheels complete the look. Power steering, power-assisted brakes, and four-wheel disc brakes make the car approachable for regular street use. Both the heat and air conditioning are functional, adding a level of everyday usability that is particularly welcome in a modified 1990s Japanese performance car.

Inside, the Skyline retains a largely factory-style cloth interior and its authentic right-hand-drive layout. The four-door body makes this R33 considerably more practical than its coupe counterpart while retaining the same unmistakable Skyline styling and turbocharged RB character. The understated black exterior works especially well with the sedan body, giving the car a clean appearance that doesn't need to shout about what is underneath the hood.

A substantial amount of maintenance has also been performed, including an OEM fan, PCV hoses, turbo gaskets, spark plugs and coil packs, valve cover gasket, rear main seal, MAF sensor, and brake pads and rotors. A recent oil change was completed using Royal Purple 10W-40 oil and a K&N filter.

With its factory RB25DET turbocharged inline-six, rear-wheel-drive configuration, 5-speed manual, limited-slip differential, right-hand drive, and tasteful performance upgrades, this 1996 Nissan Skyline GTS25t offers the ingredients that make the R33 platform so appealing.
