1937 Plymouth Coupe Street Rod

GR Auto Gallery is pleased to offer this 1937 Plymouth Coupe for your consideration. This example is powered by what is believed to be a 350ci V8 motor that sends power to the rear wheels through an automatic transmission.

This is a beautiful street rod with its Metallic Red paint and 18-inch Riddler 5-spoke wheels that are wrapped in Pirelli P-Zero tires. Overall the exterior of the vehicle is in good condition with minor signs of age as shown in the pictures. The interior has been completely refinished with gray leather front bucket seats that feature red piping and custom embroidered headrests. An aftermarket GT Grant steering wheel has been installed as have Auto Meter gauges.

As an arm of Chrysler, Plymouth has an interesting contribution to automotive history. Offering vehicles more attractively priced to families, Plymouth was the only automaker to make a sales increase in 1932. They continued to adjust models with new innovations and body styles, knocking Ford down to 3rd (in 1933) for the first time in history.
