1997 Chevrolet Corvette

GR Auto Gallery is pleased to offer this low mile 1997 Chevrolet Corvette for your consideration. The fifth generation Corvette is powered by a strong 5.7L V8 motor that cranked out 345 horsepower. In this example, power is routed to the rear wheels through a 4-speed automatic transmission and limited slip differential. With the four wheel independent suspension, large motor, strong transmission, and disc brakes at all four corners, there is no doubting that this Corvette is a true sports car.

The exterior sports a beautiful Torch Red which is complemented by the Pewter leather interior. Highlights of this example include, power heated outside mirrors, air conditioning, AM/FM/Cassette radio with Bose speakers, remote power locks, power windows, power drivers' and passengers' seats, body side moldings, fog lamps, and color keyed front floor mats. Two specific features of this example that make it stand out on today's roads are the pop up headlights and the removable roof panel. The biggest re-design in Corvette history came with the introduction of the C5 or fifth generation that was built from 1997-2004. It was completely new from head to toe and some of the manufacturing and designs would be carried through to two models later through the C7. It had an all new all aluminum V8 that would churn out 345 HP and have a top speed in the 175 MPH range. It had a better coefficient drag than seen before as well as being lighter it made for a much more powerful and comfortable car with great road manners.
