Chevrolet's Monte Carlo started production in 1970 and ended in 2007. The first generation example offered here was made from 1970 to 1972 and was powered by a 350 CID (5.7L) Turbo-Fire Small Block V8 mated to a 3-speed Turbo Hydramatic automatic transmission. The 1972 models were upgraded with power steering and a facelift similar to the Cadillac. They had power brakes as well.
This is a very clean example with a complete restoration undergone in 1992 by Totten's Body Shop of Gaylord, MI. It was originally painted Cranberry Red (Paint Code 75) but was finished in Orange Flame (Paint Code 65) when restored. The car has been stored indoors since and driven minimally. The car was born in Michigan and has stayed in Michigan for its entire life. This is a classy ride with a lot of historical significance in American motoring. Call or e-mail today.
