1993 Mercedes-Benz 190E

Mercedes Benz spent 100's of Millions of dollars researching and developing the W201 subsequently saying it was massively over-engineered which for Mercedes to say that then there must be something to be said for that as they over engineer everything. They introduced a 5-link rear suspension, front and rear anti-roll bars, anti-dive and anti-squat geometry as well as ABS and airbags. They also used light-weight steel for safety and performance. Enough of the boring stuff…. The things that set this car a part from the rest is a long list. First of all, this car was purchased brand new by the woman selling it today. She purchased the car 6/7/1993 with 76 miles on the odometer from the local Mercedes Benz Dealer. The car has just over 60,000 miles today. There is a three-ring binder with every piece of documentation one would could want. From the window sticker, original sales documents all service invoices and receipts. It even contains articles about the car as well as correspondence from Mercedes Benz including Christmas cards. This 190 still has all of its original books/manuals and keys. This is also a very cool “Sportline” package with MANUAL gearbox. Last year for this particular model as well as manual gearboxes in sedans. The “Sportline” package featured upgraded suspension and interior with killer bolstered seats among a couple other upgrades. The A/C has been converted to R134a and blows cold out of the climate control system. The interior is like new, has good tires and brakes and is ready to be enjoyed or put it in your garage and watch the values climb. This is a 100% stock car with everything you could ask for. Yes, it's a 27-year old car that will need proper maintenance and upkeep in due time to keep in this condition and the car has 60,000 and is not new but in very wonderful condition for its age. The 190 starts, runs, shifts and brakes magnificently.
