1989 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am GTA

The Pontiac Firebird is an automobile that was built by GM from 1967 through 2002. It was introduced the same year as the platform-sharing Chevrolet Camaro. During that 35 years of production they only had four different generations of major styling changes.

The 5.7 liter 350 v8 fires right up and is paired to an automatic transmission that shifts smoothly. The GTA option was an additional $800 and many called it the “Ferrari Back End.” It was a notchback option that changed the rear end look of the car, it typically had to be ordered direct from the factory and rarely seen on a lot and there was a 6 month waiting list.

This 1989 Pontiac Trans Am GTA has been owned by the current owner for the last 23 years and has been well taken care of. It has been changed from the factory color to yellow.
