From 2005 through 2013 Chevrolet built the C6 Corvette. It was the first time since 1962 that the Corvette design had exposed headlights. It was also a refining moment for the Corvette as it was a complete redesign both inside and out. It also featured a brand new 6-speed automatic that debuted in 2006. The interior also saw a larger passenger compartment and the stock LS2 power increased to 400 HP and top-speed was rated at 190 HP all while achieving good fuel economy respectively speaking.
