2001 Mazda Miata MX-5 Special Edition

Mazda cornered the market with the Miata as a very affordable and enjoyable roadster for the masses that screamed sportiness and function. Sales forecasts were blown away in the first generation of Miata's and the car has a very strong cult following from tuners and sensible buyers.

Each manufacture is known for rolling out “Special Edition” (SE), models in their lineups to have a car standout from the factory stock setups. Most of this means a different badge, extra horsepower or features unique to the nameplate. In 2001 Mazda released its Special Edition Miata that was a real eye catcher. Draped in British Racing Green paint and soft tan leather seats, it was a show stopper just there. However, Mazda added a Nardi wood steering wheel, short shift Nardi wood shifter, 16in high polished wheels, A/C, remote entry, BOSE stereo with CD and Cass, 6spd manual, and front fog lights.

This car is a knockout in person and retains the factory look with one small edition of the front billet grill that could easily be removed if desired. The vehicle is complete with all books, both sets of keys, rear wind deflector, and the very RARE factory hardtop. This car has been cared for properly and has only had two previous owners and it is very apparent that both loved and enjoyed it during the very low 17k miles.
