Both the paint and interior are in excellent condition. Powering this American Icon is a strong running 350 V8 crate motor mated to a stout automatic transmission. The original motor was replaced in 2013 with the current power plant. Features include 4 wheel power disc brakes, power steering and working heat. Additionally, this Vette has been meticulously maintained. Recent work includes new brake and gas lines, new gas tank, a recored radiator, new alternator, new ignition system, new shocks as well as fresh brake pads and rotors. The C3 generation of Corvettes were the stingrays patterned after the Mako Shark II designed by Larry Shinoda and executed under Bill Mitchell's direction. In 1970 the fender flares were designed into the body contours to reduce wheel-thrown debris damage. Additionally, new egg-crate grills with matching front fender side vents and larger squared front directional lamp became standard. The Interior was tweaked also with redesigned seats and a new deluxe interior option combined wood-grain wood accents and higher-spec carpeting with leather seat surfaces.
