For the first time, Ford was building pickups on a dedicated truck platform creating a much better work horse than previously available. Classic trucks are gaining momentum in the collector auto markets. Ford's 1st F-series generation lasted from the 1948-1952 model years, but significantly changed in appearance from year to year making each version unique and pretty rare. While trucks sold well, most were obviously used work heavy work loads leaving few surviving examples in excellent condition as survivors or customs.

The 1950 F1 offered here is powered by a 283 v8 paired with an automatic transmission. The truck runs and handles well and goes down the road straight. Highlights include a Nova front end, new brakes, new tires, SunPro gauges along with factory gauges, AM/FM/Cassette player, vinyl tonneau cover and dual exhaust.
