1993 Mercedes-Benz 500SL

The R129 or Fourth generation of the SL was a widely popular model that was built and produced by Mercedes for thirteen years. Mercedes Benz always held themselves to a higher standard than most, and that really holds true with the SL models as it was the car in 1954 that remains one of the most iconic and highly collectable cars of all time with its Gullwing styling as well as its Roadster design. It went on to win tours, rallys and races. These fourth generation of cars were a complete sleek redesign that offered a few different engine options but it was the 5.0 Liter V8 that garnered the most attention. This particular 500 SL has traveled less than 62,000 miles, is finished in black over black cosmetics and is in wonderful shape, both mechanically and physically. Everything is in working order including the convertible top and the car goes down the road perfectly. The rear window of the top is a little hazy but other than that in wonderful condition. These cars with low mileage and good condition are starting to command collector car money. This one is priced to sell.
