The car was purchased new at Don Seelye Ford of Kalamazoo Michigan optioned with the 302 V8 engine, Selectshift Cruise-o-Matic transmission and rear wheel drive. As most birds of the day, the cars came quite equipped standard from the factory including power steering, power brakes, Duraspark ignition, steel belted radial tires, opera windows, full wheel covers, electric clock, dual note horn and Directaire ventilation system.
