The MG TD series was one of the most popular post war sports cars and is often credited with creating the now booming sports car market in the United States. Light weight, simple mechanicals, and a pure open air driving made this little cars highly desirable. The TD has appreciated in value tremendously that there are now quite a few replicas on the market to satisfy the ever growing demand.

GR Auto Gallery is pleased to present this nice MG TD replica for your consideration. Titled as a 1980 Replica Car, this MG is actually based on a 1969 VW Beetle. The kit is produced by Daytona and is called the MiGi. It features the Beetle's rear mounted 1500cc H4 as well as the 4-speed manual transmission and other mechancials. This insures that parts are very easy to find and are very affordable. While many of these kit cars are poorly assembled, this particular car is an excellent driving vehicle. It goes down the road very well, doesn't pull to the side when you brake, or have any other weird tendencies that a Beetle wouldn't have. The car is very solid mechanically and recently had a lot of brake work completed.

The body is finished in white and has a white convertible top as well as zipper side curtains. The body is in great shape with lots of ornamentation from the classic radiator grill, hood ornament, grill badges, dual round lights, fender mounted mirrors, mixed driving lights, five horns, rear luggage rack, continental spare tire, and headlight covers. It also has wire wheel covers mounted over steel wheels with white wall tires. The plus red velour interior features very nice seats and a clean wood dashboard. This little car is a ton of fun to drive and gets tons of looks wherever it goes and is a bargain compared to a real MG.
