1968 Oldsmobile 442

The Cutlass shared the GM A-body platform with many legendary cars (Chevrolet Chevelle, Pontiac GTO, Buick GS). The Cutlass 3rd generation went through a major body restyle in 1968 as did all the other A-body cars which turned in to the pinnacle of the muscle car era for GM. Their flowing lines, mean stances, and ample room for plenty of power under the hood is exactly what you think of when you think of classic muscle car fun. The Oldsmobile 442 became its own model line in 1968 after being an option package for the Cutlass. The 442 etymology comes from 4-barrel carburetor, 400 cubic inch displacement, and dual exhausts.

The body is very nice and the paint is in good shape as well. The car features dual exhaust, 18in Foose wheels, dual mirrors, great chrome trim, a brand new power convertible top has also recently been fitted. The interior features nice black vinyl seats with front buckets, and trim and is in good shape. The dash is very nice and the car also features an auxiliary gauge pack, JVC stereo with custom speakers, and a nice condition wheel.

The car features a lot of mechanical upgrades to its 455cid V8 including Edelbrock heads, Edelbrock valve covers, MSD electronic ignition, and a new air cleaner. The car also features power steering and power brakes and is an excellent driving car. This car will more than make you happy and will be an excellent summer cruiser!
