1995 Chevrolet Impala SS

Based on the full sized Caprice, the Impala SS was was sold from just 1994 till 1996 and had a whole host of features that gave it a performance advantage over the normal model. Some of the main features include the C91 police package with beefed up suspension, a high-capacity cooling system, dual exhaust, a transmission cooler and larger disc brakes. A limited-slip rear differential was standard, and the SS rode on 17-inch alloy wheels. Under the hood was GM's familiar 5.7l LT1 V8 engine and it was mated to an automatic transmission. The engine made an impressive 260hp and an even more impressive 330 lb-ft of torque. It could hit 60mph in 7 seconds and complete the quarter mile in 15 seconds. Only 18,649 were produced.
